• Account information — your name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash) when you register. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from your Google account.
• Profile & service details — information you choose to provide, such as your business name, service area, city/ZIP code, the services you request or offer, quotes, appointments, messages, and reviews.
• Uploaded content — photos or images you attach to a request, profile, or message.
• Payment information — if and when paid features are enabled, card and payment processing is handled by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Technical data — basic information your browser sends (such as IP address and device/browser type) and cookies needed to keep you signed in and to operate the site.

How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and keep you signed in.
• To operate the marketplace — matching requests with businesses, delivering quotes, scheduling appointments, and enabling messaging.
• To send transactional emails (for example, email verification, password resets, and notifications about your requests or bookings).
• To provide optional Google Calendar sync when a business connects their Google account.
• To keep the platform secure and to prevent abuse.

How your information is shared

We share information only as needed to run the service. When you request a service, relevant details are shared with businesses so they can quote and schedule. We use trusted third-party providers — including email delivery (Resend), payment processing (Stripe), and calendar sync (Google) — that process data on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account by contacting us at the address below.

Your choices

• You can update your account details from your settings.
• You can request that we delete your account and associated data.
• You can disconnect Google Calendar sync at any time from your Google account settings.

Children

Limpida Pools is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
